Ancient Russian icon of the Mother of God Leaping of the Infant, 19th century, 14.2x11.8 in. For many years, this icon has been the symbol of the Nikolo-Ugreshsky monastery.

So the Ugreshsky monastery was founded with a cathedral dedicated to Saint Nicolas, where later the Mother of God Leaping of the Infant appeared.
During the destruction of the monastery in 1918, the icon of the Leaping Child disappeared.
In 2003, an unknown woman donated an icon to the Nikolo-Ugreshsky monastery, which was similar in description to the lost icon.
Icon from Northern Russia, painted in the late 19th century with egg tempera on a lime wood hardboard, delivered in an elegant case with export report.
