Cinzia and Alessandro Ghirelli have made their vision of the Rosary a family business, raised to an authentic testimony of God’s love. While still engaged and about to travel to Medjugorje on a private pilgrimage, they were involved in a terrible car accident in which Alessandro’s father lost his life. Both devastated by the traumatic experience, they forced themselves to react and got married, working together to carry on Alessandro’s father’s business—distributing fruit and vegetables. Just a few months later, the Chernobyl nuclear disaster also devastated this part of their lives. Cinzia and Alessandro had nothing left but to seek refuge and comfort in prayer.

It was during this terrible period that their passion for the Rosary was born, nurtured by Don Nello and Sister Pia, their spiritual guides. From there, the step towards creating rosaries was remarkably short—almost natural. It was a way of responding to the tragedies that had befallen them, to recognise a higher beauty even in Pain. No matter how bad things got, they knew—felt—that someone was watching over them. And thanks to constant prayer and the practice of the Rosary, that benevolent and infinitely generous presence became ever more intense and meaningful.

So Alessandro and Cinzia decided to create rosaries—the most beautiful ever seen—and to offer them to the Church and to the world as instruments of prayer and salvation for all. Their relatives and descendants, raised in love and inspired by the awareness of the Faith they had embraced, chose to follow in their footsteps.
