The statue is made and paitend by hand from an initial block of terracotta layers, afterwards the personage is created and shaped. The figurine is paitend with acrylic colours for ceramics. At the end of this process the little statue has a special ageing treatment.
This line of manger scenes is produced in Deruta, a little town in central Italy, famous for its artistic terracotta creations and for the high quality of its materials and hand work.
The terracotta is manufactured and painted by hand by local artisans. The hand made manufacture and the precious details make every singke article unique.
