Alveolo chalice, ciborium and paten with bees, 18 kt gold-plated brass, Pical Arte.
Chalice, ciborium and paten characterised by a honeycomb decoration with fully modelled three-dimensional bees.
Each piece is entirely handmade by the artisans of Pical Arte in brass with 18 kt gold plating, produced by microcasting and finished by hand; surfaces are then enameled with green leaves and bees with coloured wings.
Pical Arte Creazioni is an Umbrian workshop specialised in artistic microcasting, manual finishing and hand-decoration of sacred objects, with particular attention to detail and material quality. Their creations are distinguished by style, originality and artisanal care, the result of long-standing experience in the sector.
The chalice model "Alveolo" features a 3.9-inch cup, a flared shape and an irregular microcast base; it is 11-inch high and the base measures 5.1x5.3 in, entirely 18 kt gold-plated and enameled in the decorations.
The ciborium model "Alveolo" has a 5.5-inch cup, an overall height of 8.7 in and a base 5.1x3.7 in; it shares the same microcast design elements and is made in brass with 18 kt gold plating and hand-applied enamels.
The paten bears the same honeycomb and enameled bee motifs and has a diameter of 7.1 in.
Each variant is supplied in an elegant red velvet presentation box, ideal for safekeeping and display.
For maintenance, clean only with a soft dry cloth; to remove fingerprints or light marks a cloth slightly dampened with warm water may be used and dried immediately afterwards.
Avoid aggressive detergents, alcohol, abrasive substances or metal polishes, which could damage the gilding and the enamels.
