Ciborium with Florentine cut-out pattern, silver-plated, h 14 in. Ciborium made of brass with lost-wax casting and finished with 24K gold plating on the cup and on the cross topping the lid. The embossed cut-out decorations covering the whole surface of the ciborium are characterised by a silver plating, creating a wonderful contrast with the gold plating underneath.
The decorations represent shells, ears of wheat, grapes and cherubs.
