Body of Christ, Corpus model in Valgardena wood, patinated finish.
Patinated finish of the statue: the completed sculpture is coated with a walnut colour patina.
Sculpture in maple wood, hand made by the Valgardena craftsmen following the local artistic tradition.
These artisans sculpt the Alps wood with great skills and ability. This is a fine article of high quality.

Each time I see one of these "Body of Christ" I am amazed by the craftsmanship that goes into making such a beautiful figure. The detail is amazing and very realistic. Holy Art is my go to source for all things religious.
