Among them is Angelino, who has lost his mother in the rubble. Without any point of reference and completely alone, the child wanders desperately until he comes across the sacred image of Pope John Paul II. Angelino instinctively understands that it is the Holy Father who will help him in his search and decides to meet him at all costs. Meanwhile, in nearby Colombia, the Pontiff is expected for a pastoral visit. Angelino wastes no time. Firmly determined to get to the Pope, he secretly boards a plane and, with the help of a famous Colombian singer, arrives at the place where the Mass is to be celebrated. It will be John Paul II himself who will finally perform the miracle he had dreamed of.
