"Crime is a task" were the words pronounced by Cardinal Anastasio Ballestrino then "custodian" of the Shroud, a moment after cutting the linen sample for the radio carbon test. The night of the Shroud tries to clarify, with new and unpublished documents, the many doubts on the dating of the Shroud of 1988 by means of Carbon 14, a mystery never completely clarified and on which even today many are questioning. For the first time, research will be concentrated on the characters and the mysterious maneuvers involving representatives of the scientific community and the ecclesiastical world. Within this scientific journey the burning revelations of the protagonists and international figures who have lived those years and analyzed unpublished documents alternate: videos, files, audio files of private archives, letters, photos.
