Restored antique icon, All creatures rejoice in you, 36x30 cm, Russia. Antique icon on a 19th century wood board with egg tempera painting, restored in the 21th century, from Russia.
In this icon the Mother of God with her Son is the main subject and comes to have symbolic significance of universal joy. The saints, prophets, apostles and virgins around her seem to converge in a symmetric perspective towards the Mother of God.
Icon delivered in an elegant bow with certificate of authenticity released by an expert of Russian cultural heritage.
