Virgin of Kazan, painted icon with riza, Poland, 30.5x26.5 cm. Gilded icon painted by hand in Russian style by Polish artists on a wood plank covered by a silver-plated copper riza. This riza is created with embossing traditional techniques and enamelled by hand with Schauer enamel.
The original icon of the Virgin of Kazan is one of the most important of Russian history. According to the legend, in 1579, a girl found it after a dream she made.
Delivered with a guarantee certificate, its history and a metal hook to hang it.
