Saint Expeditus is known as the patron saint for urgent matters and difficult situations. According to tradition, he was a Roman officer who, upon conversion, chose to embrace faith without hesitation, refusing the temptation to postpone. This depiction portrays Saint Expeditus with calm and well-defined colours, creating balance and harmony in the statue. In his right hand, he holds a cross with the inscription HODIE, symbolising the immediate choice for faith. In his left hand, he clutches a green leaf, symbolising vitality and renewal, representing the victory of faith over the temptation of delay. At his feet lies a crow, a symbol of the temptation to postpone, CRAS, which he defeated with his determination. Dimensions: 11.5x4.2x3.7 in. Made in Italy.
