Fong I.4/13/2022The village set is much lighter than those from Lemax and feels more plastic. I am building my christmas village. Most of my village items are from Lemax and they are really heavy bec the base and parts are made from Porcelain. Now I have a lighter set from Holyart. It fits and blends in nicely with the other sets. The quality is better than other brands like lemax. The attention to details is good. The action is smooth and does not make squeaky noises like Lemax. The music quality is comparable to Lemax. The battery option is great but mostly, people who wants to build a christmas village only needs pluged-in power. I wished that the LED lights could have been designed to blink with the music or have options to blink or stays on. The skiers on a conveyer belt could have been on a higher speed, that would enhance the animation. There should have been some lighting at the top to illuminate the ski conveyor. The packaging does not come with a protective box like those of Lemax. A nice box would have been better to protect the item and also as a collector's box. Bec there was no box, the shipping packing needs lots of paper cushioning around it, making the box really big. Could there be more saving on cost if a Styrofoam box was designed to fit the item? Overall, I'm please with my purchase and will buy again. Keep up the good design and hope that improvements could be made to create better versions on the future.
