Lemax Caddington Village Christmas Market

Lemax Carnival Village: The Funfair in Your Christmas Village

Lemax Carnival Village allows you to add an area entirely dedicated to entertainment to a traditional Christmas village. Inspired by fairs and large amusement parks, this collection stands out from more traditional Lemax settings thanks to its bright colours, lights, music and, above all, numerous moving elements. The result is a miniature funfair that can become one of the most spectacular focal points of the entire display.

Carnival Village can occupy a separate area or be incorporated into a larger village, just like a Christmas fair set up near the town centre. Attractions, figures and small decorative elements allow you to gradually build up the setting, transforming a simple corner with just a few rides into a complete Lemax amusement park filled with scenes and details.

Lemax Fairground Rides and Ferris Wheels: Which Ones to Choose?

Lemax fairground rides are the stars of Carnival Village and include many different types of attractions. Lemax Ferris wheels are particularly suitable as focal points thanks to their height and visibility, even in larger displays. Carousels and spinning rides evoke the atmosphere of traditional fairs, while roller coasters, dodgems and more elaborate attractions make it possible to create a funfair with a modern and dynamic character.

When choosing attractions, it is also important to consider the size of the available space. A large Lemax fairground ride can become the main feature of a small display on its own, while a larger area can accommodate several attractions with enough space between them for visitors, pathways and other accessories. Combining rides of different heights and sizes also helps add depth to the display.

How to Create a Miniature Lemax Funfair

When setting up a Carnival Village, it is useful to start with the main attractions and build the rest of the display around them. A Ferris wheel, carousel or another large attraction can define the centre of the funfair; smaller rides, figures and accessories can then be added to create pathways that guide visitors through the park.

Figures are essential for making the scene feel realistic: families, children and visitors can be placed in front of the rides and Ferris wheels, while benches, street lamps and other small details can be used to decorate the remaining spaces. Lighting should also be taken into consideration when planning the display, especially when several animated attractions are used at the same time. Planning power supplies and cables in advance makes it easier to conceal the connections and keep the landscape tidy.

How to Add Carnival Village to a Lemax Christmas Village

There is no need to dedicate the entire display to the funfair: Carnival Village can become a specific area within a larger Lemax Christmas village. The rides can be positioned near a square, a Christmas market or on the outskirts of the village, recreating the idea of a travelling fair arriving in town for the festive season.

To visually connect the funfair with the other areas of the Lemax village, you can use roads, paths, street lamps, trees, snow and figures. This creates a more natural transition from houses and shops to the attractions and makes Carnival Village part of one complete display. The contrast between traditional buildings and illuminated, moving Lemax fairground rides can also make the village even more varied and engaging.

At Holyart, you can find fairground rides, Lemax Ferris wheels and Carnival Village attractions to create a miniature Christmas funfair or add a new entertainment area to your Christmas village.
