The piece depicts a tall, narrow chocolate shop set in a brick-effect façade with a distinctive stepped parapet. On the ground floor there are two illuminated display windows, a central door and white-and-brown striped awnings. In the left window a figure is visible behind the counter, while the right window exhibits various products. Above the awnings is a large sign reading "Chocolate" with illustrations of chocolate pieces. The façade is completed by shuttered windows with flower boxes, green decorations, two lanterns and several coloured lights. The roof, façade projections and the base are partially covered with snow.
