The piece depicts Father Christmas' garage set in a pitched-roof building covered with snow and bearing the sign "Santa’s Garage" on the façade. Inside are Santa and a reindeer; a brown-and-gold sleigh with gifts is parked on the left, while a large wooden crate stands on the right and additional parcels lie in front of the structure. Two snow-covered trees flank the garage. The façade is decorated with wreaths and other Christmas motifs and dotted with several coloured lights, and two illuminated lanterns sit at the sides of the opening. The scene represents the place where Father Christmas prepares the sleigh and reindeer for the Christmas deliveries and rests on a snow-covered base.
