This Nativity scene figurine is made by the Italian artist Angela Tripi. Each character is completely hand-made, different and therefore unique and their features are extraordinarily detailed, charismatics and expressive. Angela's statues have a complete body: this means that the character is created naked and then is dressed with clothes (unlike other statuettes where only hands, feet and head are completely sculpted). You will be able to notice particulars like the tense muscles, tendons and expression wrinkles. While looking at these small pieces of art, you will realise you are looking at the history of a man or woman, 'captured' in a particular moment of their life.
