The scenography recreates a detailed village from the Neapolitan Nativity tradition, developed through multiple viewpoints and enriched with lighting, a fountain with moving water and an oven with a flame-effect light. These elements add motion and depth to the composition, creating a suggestive setting for the Nativity and scenes of daily life.
Lighting, the oven's flame effect and the fountain are operated separately via three independent power supplies, each fitted with a 220-240V European plug. Before using the fountain, fill the dedicated water basin; do not run the fountain with the basin empty to preserve the pump.
The village is available in two selectable versions from the drop-down menu: empty or complete with figurines. The complete version includes 12 cm figurines in terracotta and fabric, modelled, painted and dressed entirely by hand.
The setting is produced by Creazioni Paolo e Giulia, an artisanal workshop rooted in the Neapolitan Nativity tradition. The village construction and the finishing of the figures are entirely handcrafted in Naples, following techniques and inspirations of the historic local Nativity workshops.
In the complete version, the limited availability of fabrics used to dress the characters may cause variations in colours, patterns and small details compared with the photographs. The handmade nature of the scenography can also produce slight differences between pieces, making each village unique.
