Man carrying firewood for 20 cm terracotta Neapolitan Nativity Scene.
Handcrafted terracotta figurine made by Neapolitan artisans, depicting a man with a bundle of wood on his shoulders, gathered and tied for transport.
His clothing recalls mountain attire, making him suitable for rural and field-work scenes.
Easily placed in Neapolitan-style Nativity displays alongside figures of similar size, this simple subject, linked to traditional trades, completes the Nativity Scene.
