Neapolitan nativity figurine depicting a warrior, suitable for a 8cm (3,15in) nativity scene.
The character is made in Neaples, capital of the nativity scene tradition; the figurine is completely handmade, made of real terracotta, covered in molded cloth. The limited availability of the fabrics and the handmade craftsmanship result in a product that is always slightly different and therefore unique; a really valuable figurine for nativity scenes.

Thomas W.12/7/2025Der Soldat sieht mit seinem roten Gewand eigentlich sehr schön aus. das Schild ist gut geklungen. Warum bekommt er trotzdem nur 3 Sterne. Ganz einfach, auch wenn das in der Realität ja sehr schön wäre, aber bei einem Soldaten sollte einfach auch eine Bewaffnung vorhanden sein, eine Lanze oder ein Schwert. aber der Soldat hat nur sein Schild. Das taugt nicht wirklich, um Herodes zu beschützen. TW
