Terracotta angel for 8 cm Neapolitan Nativity Scene.
Placed above the stable or cave of the Nativity, this angel with outstretched wings proclaims the birth of Jesus and completes one of the most significant scenes of the Neapolitan Nativity.
The figure is depicted in flight, in a pose that brings balance and movement to the composition. The face, hands, feet and wings are modelled in terracotta, while the robe is crafted in fabric, materials that highlight the attention to detail and lend realism to the statuette.
A small hook positioned at the centre of the wings allows easy attachment above the stable or elsewhere in the Nativity.
The statuette is made by Creazioni Paolo e Giulia, an Italian artisanal workshop that handcrafts figures inspired by the Neapolitan Nativity tradition. Each stage of production is carried out with care, producing figures faithful to the tradition. Finishes and some details of the clothing may vary slightly, reflecting the handcrafted nature of the piece and making each creation unique.
Designed to accompany Nativity characters of 8 cm, this piece is ideal for completing the Nativity Scene.
