Terracotta chestnut seller for 12 cm Neapolitan Nativity Scene.
Handcrafted terracotta figurine depicting a chestnut seller roasting chestnuts, recalling an ancient custom and the traditional trades represented in the Neapolitan Nativity. The figure is completed with fabric garments, carefully sewn and hand-applied to add rich detail and realism to the scene.
Produced by Creazioni Paolo e Giulia, an Italian artisan workshop specialised in Nativity figurines. The modelling of the terracotta, the dressing and the finishing of the details are executed entirely by hand, in keeping with the Neapolitan Nativity Scene tradition.
The fabrics used for the clothing are selected according to availability; for this reason colours, patterns and small details may vary slightly from the photographs, making each figurine unique and enhancing its artisanal character.
Ideal for completing Nativity Scenes with 12 cm figures, enriching scenes dedicated to traditional trades and everyday village life.
