This delicate reproduction of Baby Jesus, lying in a golden manger with warm and embracing tones, conveys a sense of peace and sweetness. The serene little face, the gaze turned upwards, and the open arms evoke the promise of welcome and hope that Christmas carries with it. The light blue dress, embellished with details in 10% pure gold, adds a touch of purity and preciousness to the scene, making this figurine a luminous presence in the Nativity.

Crafted entirely from Faenza ceramic, each piece takes shape through skilled artisanal work, starting from slip, liquid clay poured into plaster molds to achieve the shape. Once dried and finished, the statue undergoes an initial firing at 1000°C. It then moves to decoration with non-toxic glazes, followed by immersion in crystal-clear glaze that gives brightness and brilliance, culminating in a second firing at 920°C. The 10% pure gold finish is fixed with a third firing at 720°C.

The piece is signed by Dellarte Ceramiche, an artistic company founded over twenty years ago by Paola Zaghi, an expert in Art History and Painting Design. Her passion for tradition and elegance is reflected in every creation, born from the desire to bring to life authentic, expressive, and meaningful objects.
