Blue matryoshka doll, Rome, set of 3 dolls, 3.9 inches. Blue matryoshka doll with St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican on the back, symbol of Rome, made and painted by hand by Russian craftsmen in traditional Russian style.
The Russian nesting doll consists of three dolls, representing Saint Joseph with the Infant Jesus in the manger by his side, the Virgin Mary with a sheep and two sheeps on the smaller doll.
