Ivory silk chasuble with filigree, 2025 Jubilee, Limited Edition by Gamma, 1/25. Limited edition ivory silk chasuble with filigree for the 2025 Jubilee celebration, created as a one-of-a-kind piece, 1 of 25, to commemorate the 2025 Jubilee.
The liturgical vestment is crafted from pure silk, designed by Gamma di Felisi in collaboration with Effe Erre and AGL Tessitura, with a fully Italian production.
Made from exquisite Dupion silk, certified by AGL Tessitura, this chasuble stands out for its softness and sophistication. The fabric features a natural filigree design exclusively created for Gamma by Irene Tronci.
The orphrey is adorned with machine embroidery using threads of various shades, similar to those used by top fashion houses.
Additionally, it is embellished with precious 800 silver filigree elements on brick-coloured velvet.
Each filigree, entirely handcrafted by skilled artisans, encloses a red coral pearl at its center, enhancing its value.
The central orphrey, also present on the back, is the aesthetic focal point of the chasuble. It is enriched with filigree applications, meticulously crafted by the Ligurian company Effe Erre, hand-applied and individually worked to create delicate floral patterns.
To enhance the chromatic contrast, a thin layer of velvet is placed under each filigree, offering a refined play of shades compared to the predominant tones of the vestment.
The orphrey, made of high-quality polyester satin with filigree embroidery details, is also featured on the back of the chasuble. The edge is elegantly finished with a gold trim.
Completing the vestment is the matching stole, embellished with velvet details and three filigree crosses, also handcrafted. Six white and beige tassel threads, adorned with golden beads and cords, are attached at the ends.
The chasuble measures 66.9x51.2 in, and the total weight of the silver used is 330 grams.
