This liturgical chalice is crafted in metal with a bicoloured gold and silver finish, chased decoration and a worked structure with raised ornamental elements.
The form presents a slender Gothic line with a polylobed base and an articulated stem with a central node decorated by chased inserts and architectural motifs inspired by the medieval style. The base is enriched with pierced rosettes, floral motifs and medallions in relief depicting Christ, the Virgin and saints of the Christian tradition, set within circular frames with a hammered gilded background.
The stem develops vertical ribs and ornamental details that recall elements of Gothic cathedrals, while the upper cup offers a smooth, glossy gilded surface and a lower band decorated in continuity with the base. The chased surfaces enhance the contrast between the silvered and gilded areas, highlighting the artisanal workmanship and the definition of decorative details.
