Deposition of Christ chalice, silver-plated brass, h 8 in. Chalice made of silver-plated brass with 24K gold plated cup, decorated on the base by an embossed representation of the Deposition of Christ. The chalice is also enriched by other religious symbols such as a pelican, a cross, a lamb and three flowers.
The node, chiselled by hand, is decorated by a crown of thorns.
Made with lost-wax casting and decorated by hand in Italy by specialised craftsmen.
