The chalice is crafted in brass with a silver finish and is adorned with rich olive branches and leaves produced by microcasting, which embrace the cup and create a visual continuity between the base and the chalice surface.
The circular base is produced by microcasting with silver galvanisation to achieve a stone-effect finish. From it rises an elegant stem that culminates in raised ornaments of leaves, grape clusters and olive motifs, silver-plated, which surround the base of the chalice cup. The cup features a polished surface made from a turned plate and finished with 18 kt gold plating, harmonising with the more textured style of the stem and base.
The chalice is entirely handcrafted by the artisans of Pical Arte Creazioni, an Umbrian workshop specialised in artistic microcasting and the production of sacred objects. Supplied in an elegant red velvet presentation box, ideal for liturgical storage and display.
For cleaning, use a soft dry cloth. To remove fingerprints, a cloth slightly dampened with warm water may be used, drying immediately afterwards. Avoid aggressive detergents, alcohol, abrasive products or polishing pastes that could damage the plating and the hand-applied finishes.
