UVA ciborium with grape and leaf decoration, 18Kt gold-plated, 5.5-inch diameter, Pical Arte Creazioni.
An elegant ciborium for Holy Mass, UVA design, made of 18Kt gold-plated brass.
The ciborium rests on a refined base crafted from a turned sheet of metal and then plated in 18Kt gold, a process also used in the cup. Harmoniously connecting the two parts is an elegant decorative element composed of grape bunches and leaves, created in relief using the lost-wax casting technique and then plated in 18Kt gold. Completing the composition, the lid is surmounted by a rising cross, framed by grape leaves and bunches that recall the decorative theme of the entire piece.
The ciborium was crafted by the expert artisans of the Umbrian workshop Pical Arte Creazioni, specialising in the production of sacred art objects. The authenticity of the workmanship is further attested by the artist's signature engraved on the bottom.
The ciborium comes with an elegant red velvet case, designed to protect it and enhance its presentation during liturgical celebrations.
To preserve its finish over time, we recommend gentle cleaning with a soft, dry cloth. Any fingerprints can be removed using a cloth slightly dampened with warm water, drying thoroughly immediately afterwards. Avoid the use of alcohol, harsh detergents, abrasive products, or polishing pastes, which could damage the 18-karat gold plating and decorative details.
