Holy Family with angels wood bas-relief, Bethlehem monastery 25x20 cm. Wood bas-relief representing the Virgin Mary lying in bed, the newborn Jesus in his crib, Saint Joseph by their side, leaning on his arm and two angels, one with one hand on Joseph head and the other on Jesus' feet and the other holding a banner saying "GLORIA IN EXCELSIS". Maria V.1/2/2026Questo bassorilievo della Natività risponde alle due correnti, umana e divina, che sono proprie della narrazione evangelica. Troviamo l'umanità in Maria, coricata in un letto movimentato dalle grandi pieghe ondeggianti della coperta; in Giuseppe, che appare spossato, forse dal lungo viaggio affrontato e da una notte che si presume sia stata movimentata e piena d'ansia come sono sempre le vigilie delle nascite; nel Bambino Gesù fasciato come d'uso un tempo. Troviamo il divino nelle aureole e nei due Angeli: quello col cartiglio ripropone la frase latina tipica della Divina Natività. L'altro Angelo collega i due aspetti divino-umani con l'inedito, delicato gesto della mano sul capo di Giuseppe. In questa opera, le mani hanno la funzione di collegare i tre Protagonisti del racconto evangelico: Maria si collega col Figlio mentre l'Angelo collega il Bambino con Giuseppe. Le parti sporgenti di questo bassorilievo, sfuggendo alla forma rettangolare, danno anche maggior movimento a tutta la composizione, E' qui rappresentata una Natività non semplicisticamente ingenua, ma che sa suscitare, in chi la guarda, uno stupore silenzioso e profondo. Come quello che sembra provenire dai Pastori di un altro bassorilievo, che può essere quindi un degno completamento di questa 'speciale' Natività. Un grazie di cuore ai Realizzatori!

Michel G.1/6/2025Bas-relief nativité reçu très rapidement car il était disponible et il était très bien emballé. Il est plus joli en naturel car on ne se rend pas compte du relief en creux sur l’image. Le bas-relief à une épaisseur maximum de 4 cm en haut et en bas et variable sur les côtés. La main gauche de Joseph qui dépasse fait même un bas-relief de 5 cm d’épaisseur totale à cet emplacement. L'arrière-plan qui est en creux et qui représente le ciel est bien décoré de 5 étoiles dorées mais pour l’étoile sur le fronton elle n’est pas dorée comme sur l’image, elle est de la même couleur que le bois (marron) Très belle représentation soignée de la nativité.
TranslateSandra G.4/3/2024Questo pregiato bassorilievo dà una rappresentazione della natività in cui in primo piano compare Giuseppe, preoccupato per il compito che lo attende, ma teneramente confortato da un angelo. Il bue e l'asinello partecipano attivamente: oltre che riscaldare sembrano coccolare il piccolo Gesù.
