Virgin and baby bas relief, terracotta

It depicts the Virgin Mary with baby Jesus standing up. They both have an aureola. The bas relief is in white enamelled ceramic and is painted by hand. The blue background is surrounded by a floral decoration. This bas relief is produced in Deruta, a little town in central Italy, famous for its artistic terracotta creations and for the high quality of its materials and hand work.
