Olivewood cross, Last Supper and Calvary, Bethlehem, 15x10 cm. Decorated wood cross of 15x9.5 cm, handmade in Palestine by craftsmen specialised in olivewood carving.
This cross is carved with a cut-out design representing different scenes of Jesus' life.
On the horizontal arm, we found the Last Supper with the Apostles around Jesus, whose halo create the upper part of the vertical arm, while on the lower part there is a representation of Jesus in the garden of the Gethsemane, the mount Calvary with the three crosses and Jesus' grave.
