Antique orthodoxe cross, enamelled bronze, Russia, 19th century, 6.5x4 in. Crucifixion represented according to traditional Byzantine iconography with Adam's skull on the bottom, wet from Jesus' blood as a symbol of redemption. On the right side, we find Saint John, the Apostle, and the centurion Longinus, while on the left stand the Mother of God and Mary of Cleophas.
Icon from the 19th century from Moscow (Russia), made of casted bronze, gilded and enamelled.
