Antique Russian icon, "Saint George" XIX century.
This icon is part of the Mstjora school, dating back to the XIX century.
It's painted with the technique of egg tempera on wood and levkas.
This icon represents the legend of Saint George who killed a dragon that was forcing the citizen to feed him their babies.
George is the symbol of the fight against Evil which every man has to fight.
Delivered with certificate of origin and authenticity.
