The iconographic typer of the Lady of Smolensk is one of the most famous one belonging to the group of the Hodegetria. With her right hand, the Virgin points toward Jesus, who is the Way.
Very detailed icon, made in Russia, hand painted by artists from Moscow, according to the traditional techniques and norms of Russian iconography.
