Russian icon, Mother of God of Smolensk, 16.5x11.8 inches, découpage. Modern Russian icon with antique finish, made by hand with decoupage and paint on hardwood, reinforced with crossbeams according to the classic Russian tradition to prevent the painting from benting over time.
The halos are painted with different shades of gold.
