Hand-painted icon of the Virgin of Vladimir, oil on glass, Romania, orange, 15.7x11.4 inches. Icon painted by hand in Romania with a particularly complex technique: the artist paints the subject backwards on glass with a mirror underneath to see the result.
The icon represents Our Lady of Vladimir, belonging to the Elousa iconographic type, showing the tenderness between the Mother of God and her Son.
Delivered in a blue velvet case with guarantee certificate.
Measures: 15.7x11.4 inches.
