Our Lady of Murmskaja icon hand painted in Romania 29x21 cm. Icon of Mother-of-God hand painted in Romania following traditional iconographic technics on a plank of wood with a canvas applied on it and covered by layers of plaster.
This icon was brought to Murom by the Saint prince Constantine to convince the inhabitants to convert to Christianity after many inconclusive attempts.
The icon is celebrated every year on April, 12th.
