Our Lady of three Hands icon hand painted in Romania 38x32 cm. Icon of the Mother of God represented with three hands, the third one referring to the miracle occurred to Saint John Damascene, whose severed hand was healed when he protected the icon from the iconoclasts.
This icon is hand painted in Romania following traditional iconographic technics on a plank of wood with a canvas applied on it and covered by layers of plaster.
