Painted Russian icon Salus populi romani 13x10 cm.
Russian icon painted by hand, made with the traditional iconographic techniques of orthodox art, by Russian painters.
It is made with the technique of gold leaf on solid lime wood.
Icon of the Byzantine-Russian school depicting a faithful copy of the Virgin with the red mantle holding Baby Jesus, which is located in the chapel of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome.
Delivered in an elegant casket.
