Russian icon of Our Lady of Kazan with two Saints 14x10 cm. Russian icon of 14x11 cm on linden hardwood covered in gold leaf and painted by hand with oil paints following Byzantine-Russian painting rules.
This icon represents Our Lady of Kazan with two Saints on her side, a faithful reproduction of one of the most famous types of depiction of the Mother of God of the 17th century. In this modern reproduction, the Mother of God is depicted as a half-length portrait with her face looking toward the Infant Jesus, represented full-length, standing on her left while blessing with his right hand. On each side of the two characters, we find two saints, a woman and a man.
Icon to hang with a hook on the back, delivered with guarantee certificate and short icon's history in an elegant wood case.
