Russian painted icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help 8.5x10.9 inches. Icon of the Hodegetria depiction type, representing Our Lady of Perpetual Help, depicting the Mother of God with the Infant Jesus surrounded by two angels holding the instruments of the Passion of the Christ. The Infant appears scared and holds his mother's hand.
Hand-painted icon from Russia, covered in gold leaf on linden wood board.
