Russian wooden egg painted by hand with the icon of the Christ Pantocrator by experienced Russian painters, specialised in freehand painting of the School of Miniature, with the technique of gold leaf, highlighting the details of decorative patterns and halos.
The icon, painted on an ivory-coloured background, represents the Christ Pantocrator holding a closed book and blessing the audiance with his right hand.
