Greek icon Madonna Umilenie with 950 silver.
950 silver is more precious than 925 silver, however it is less shiny.
This is the reproduction of an old Byzantine icon, hand-painted with colours which won't fade in time.
Umilenie is a Russian word that means tenderness and it's the name given to the icons that depict the Virgin embracing the Child.
The eyes of the characters seem to be looking right at the viewers.
The coating is in 950 silver, worked by master artisans.
This icon is delivered in an elegant blue box.
