Our Lady of Kazan gilded icon, painted with tempera 15.5x12.5 cm Poland. Icon of the Mother of God of Kazan which, according to the legend, was found thanks to a revelation to a young girl in 1579.
Icon produced in Poland and hand painted with tempera on wood, covered by a silver and copper alloy, called riza, beaten by hand, to applied to prevent the painting to blacken.
