Our Lady of Troiensk three hands gilded icon 31x26.5 cm Poland. This icon in Russian style is connected to the legend of Saint John of Damascene, whose severed hand was healed when he protected the icon from the iconoclasts.
Icon produced in Poland and hand painted with tempera on wood, covered by a silver and copper alloy, called riza, beaten by hand, to applied to prevent the painting to blacken.
Due to its artisanal manufacture, each piece is different and unique.
