Our Lady of Vladimir enamelled gilded icon 26x21.5 cm Poland. Icon in Russian style hand painted with tempera on wood in Poland and covered by a riza of silver and copper alloy, beaten and enamelled by hand, preventing the item to blacken.
According to tradition, the icon of Our Lady of Vladimir was painted by Saint Luke, gone from Constantinople to Kiev as a gift for the Grand Prince's family.
Delivered with guarantee certificate and history of the icon.
Due to its artisanal manufacture, each piece is different and unique.
