The saint is depicted wearing a black cassock with a bandage wrapped around his calf, reminiscent of the miracle of his healing. The facial details and attire make the statue closely resemble the common image of the saint we know.

Known as the patron saint of cancer patients and the sick, Saint Peregrine Laziosi lived a life of prayer and sacrifice, dedicating himself to charity and assisting the needy. The most famous miracle of his life occurred when he suffered a severe leg injury, entrusted himself to prayer, and woke up completely healed the night before the surgery.
