This bulbous and harmonious ceramic bauble is adorned with holly leaves and floral patterns on a green background with alternating light and intense shades. Hand-applied gold details lend light and sophistication to the decoration.
Made following ceramic tradition, the bauble is born from the pouring of liquid clay into gypsum molds, followed by an initial firing at 1000°C. The decorations are entirely hand-painted with lead-free enamels. After a dip in clear glaze and firing at 920°C, the ornament is embellished with 24-karat gold, fixed with a final firing at 720°C.
