Elegantly crafted Christmas bauble by Dellarte Ceramiche depicting a hand-painted snowy landscape with blue tree silhouettes against a delicate sky dotted with golden snow.
Meticulously created through artisanal mastery, the sphere originates from shaping slip poured into gypsum molds to achieve the perfect form. After careful drying, it undergoes the first firing at 1000°C, transforming into ceramic biscuit. The hand-applied decoration with non-toxic and eco-friendly glazes is subsequently protected with a crystalline bath, enhancing brilliance and colour depth.
Following a second firing at 920°C, the addition of 10% 24-karat gold leaf requires a third and final firing at 720°C, accentuating the precious details.
