This Christmas bauble by Dellarte Ceramiche depicts a vivid image of the Madonna with the Baby Jesus, executed on ceramic with extraordinary artistic sensitivity.
The creation begins with molding the slip in gypsum molds, followed by an initial firing at 1000°C. It is then hand-decorated with glossy, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly glazes. A bath in crystalline glaze provides brilliance and protection, before a second firing at 920°C. The touches of 10% pure gold complete the work with a refined final firing at 720°C.
